Q: In this day & age, do you feel arranged marriages are out of date?
A: I can definitely relate to love marriages having one myself. After a certain point in a person's life, it is very important to encourage one's individuality. I am against the idea of forcing someone to marry. If it suits a person then it makes sense. In a love marriage there is a lot of grief involved because there are ego clashes. But again, chances are that you work harder to make it work. I feel the idea of marrying someone you don't know, is quite crazy. It would scare the hell out of me.
FEMINISM:
Q: Are you a feminist? What do you think, will women ever be able to boast about their sexual conquests like men usually do?
A: I am definitely not one of those who burn-the-bra types. Men have certain strength & weaknesses &b so do women. I think a men's weakness is a women's strength & viceversa.
There are certain things that only men can do & certain things that women are much more capable of doing. There is no point in trying to compete with each other.
As far as talking about sexual conquests is concerned, i don't think any decent men in his right senses ever talk about his conquests. Only a men who doesn't respect a women would.
MALE CHAUVINISM:
Q: Do you believe in it?
A: What is the male chauvinism all about? I have never understood this battle of sexes. Chauvinism is not a very clever attitude, I don't appreciate this sensibility. Everything that I know which is worth knowing has, has come from a woman. I respect them & their minds tremendously. Chauvinists don't really understand women. I admire that somewhere you have to show you are a chauvinist or else you are labelled a wimp. But again, i would not do something like this.
PARENTAL INTERFERENCE:
Q: Would you consider parents old fashioned if they objected to partying, drinking, dope & casual relationship?
A: I feel parental guidance is more important than parental interference. After all, it's the child's life & they should be allowed to do certain things. Basically I think parental interference in a marriage is extremely dangerous. It can mess it up. It's not correct to constantly consult your parents. When invited, interference is great, when not, it's hell!
Q: Should children be encouraged to talk to their parents about sex?
A: It depends entirely on the relationship. If you can't talk to your mother about anything, then the question of talking about sex doesn't arise. But I do think there should be someone in the family you can confide in. Friends of your age only have as much experience as you do. So it's better to speak to someone with a little more experience.
COLLEGE DROPOUTS:
Q: Is money more important or education?
A: College education is definitely not a waste of time for someone who has a fixed goal. If a teenager thinks Shit, I don't feel like studying, so I am dropping OK! That's a very stupid attitude.
A lot of people who are good at book knowledge are really dumb in real life. They don't know reality till it hits them on the head.
