How Should I Greet U :(

When we two parted
In silence and tears
Half broken-hearted
To sever for years
Pale grew in check and cold
Colder is the kiss
Truly that hour foretold
Sorrow for this
The dew of the morning
Sunk chill on my brow
It felt like the warning
Of what I feel now
The vows are all broken
And light is the fame
I hear the name spoken
And share in its shame
They name u before
A knell to my ear
A shudder comes over me
Why went though so dear?
They know not I knew u
Who knew u too well
Long,long shall I rue u
Too deeply to tell
In secret we met
In silence I grieve
That the heart could forget
The spirit deceive
If I should meet u
After long years
How should I greet u
With silence and tears
