Ancient Remains of What the Giants Left Behind

They were here once, the Giants. Majestic and mysterious were their ways. Yet, despite their mystery, somehow they left us clues as to what their life must have been like back then.
During the time of the Giants, Earth must have been like their one country, their one vast playground. On mornings, they would probably gather to watch the sun rise and thank the heavens for another day. This must have been why they left images of themselves showing us their early morning ritual.

Could this have been their picnic table where they enjoyed dining under the lazy sun? Maybe so. As there were no tall structures to obstruct their view, what a breathtaking scene it must have been for them while enjoying a nice meal out in the open.

And could these have been jars they used for keeping spices, seeds or beans? Quite possibly. Several hundred of these jars abound, and some legends say they probably even contained wine.

They sure had a lot of jars with which to store goods for a rainy day, and probably to keep the ants away.

Take a peek! Wonder if there's still some spices left behind?

It must have been one of those sunny days when the Giants decided to just scoop up a bit of earth here, a bit of grass there... and make a lot of hills... for the fun of it!

They must have been made to serve as cushiony seats... all 1,776 of them!

This was probably where they gathered sometimes, to share and tell stories.

It looks like a cozy place to sit, for a Giant sharing tales of his journeys.

Here was where they likely held more serious discussions. Their elder must have rested his weary back on the tallest of the stones, while listening to the others, with a smile of wisdom on his face.

Looks like a huge plush sofa. Bet one of the romantic couples just loved watching sunsets here!

And this is where the Giants must have sat to watch a game. Yes, with over 3,000 stones to sit on, this area must have been a really interesting spot from which to view the contest!

For the Giants who are more interested in mediation, this must have been their quiet place, where they rested together to enjoy the view of the clouds and the valleys down below.

This was probably what it was like in those days. And maybe this was a lesson the Giants wanted us to learn: to make time for days when we can sit and have a clear view of the horizon, have time to admire the sun and the new morning, and to enjoy time outside to tell stories and share tales.
Must have been nice to have lived during the time when the Giants walked the Earth; back when Earth was one country, one vast playground.
